Welcome to the home page of Banovallum Brass. We are a successful Brass Banding outfit; running two bands, a support group and a music school. The two thriving bands, Seniors and Juniors, each have a discrete engagement programme. The highly successful music school offers affordable brass tuition at the weekends and is staffed by qualified teachers and bandspersons.
We welcome new blood at all times, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to come and join us, even if it’s just for an evening practice. We are always looking for Bass players and Cornets in particular, but all are welcome. At the moment we also have vacancies on percussion to enhance our highly trained team of one!
The music programme is weekly as follows:
Juniors: Tuesday 6.15pm – 7.15pm during school term time
Seniors: Tuesday and Friday 7.30pm – 9.30pm
School: Saturday 9am – 12noon during school term time
